Olson Visual helps Dish One to tune into the public at Home and Garden show.

THE BRIEF

The design for the brief project called for Olson Visual to design and create an exhibition for their client Dish One to showcase their products and services including their newest Smart DVR technology to attendees at the Home and Garden show in Phoenix. Due to the broad variety of products and services that Dish One offer the stand need to help to explain these in a simply but eye-catching format.

OUTCOME

Olson Visual’s design consisted of a central 3 metre tall T3 Frame tower with a custom door that was used by event staff for storage of literature and other goods. 4 T3 Litebox displays with partnering T3 Frame counters.

Dish one needed to be able to showcase their DVR technology to attendees and therefore required a numerous display monitors to be set up in strategic places of the exhibition stand space. The teams at Olson Visual and T3 Systems came up with an innovative solution to this request. Monitor displays were integrated into various 1M x 2M lightboxes that were dotted around the stand. By creating this design Olson Visual allowed Dish One to firstly capitalise on the eye catching illuminated graphics that the T3 Litebox provides as well as having the monitor displays to allow for the event staff to demonstrate the DVR technology.

A lightbox configuration such as this is only possible due to the variety of design benefits afforded to agencies that use T3. With its modular design, custom profile sizes and various accessories, it allowed for Olson Visual to incorporate the monitors with little hassle. No other lightbox solution has this ability. The T3 Litebox solution were fitted with T3 Affinity posts in order for Dish One to use the retro fit accessories such as brochure holders, shelving etc. They also provided extra stability to the T3 Litebox without being obtrusive or space hungry.

The counters were required so that there was a mounting platform for the DVR console and for the event staff to present literature and demonstrate the technology to the potential customers.

The displays were then cladded in fabric graphics which were mounted using the T3 Silverlite 45° extrusion which allows for the seamless corners and easy mounting and removal of the graphics.

This was the first time we had worked with Dish One, so we had a massive opportunity to really showcase all the possibilities that T3 could provide them for the exhibition stands. The fact that we could incorporate monitors into T3 Liteboxes was a massive selling point on the design. No other lightbox has the capability to do this. Dish One were very impressed with the outcome of the design.
